Launched in 2002 by Lithium Systems Limited (Alloa),  Alloa-property.co.uk was developed to advertise homes for sale and rent by local Solicitors and Estate Agents in the Clackmannanshire area.

In 2005 the site was redeveloped and was given a facelift with a new design and additional functionality added. 
Visitors could now add their email address to a distribution list and were emailed when a new property was added. 
The search functionality was also enhanced and mini-schedules were now printable directly from the site.  
Since 2005 the site has grown to be the largest in the area providing local homes for sale and rent, with over 350,000 hits each month and over 200 properties advertised on the site.

2006 saw a change in the market with Solicitors and Agents in other areas requesting to add their properties to our site.  In October 2006 we decided to develop a new site, with new branding, which would encompass the whole of the FK postcode area.  

Launched in April 2007, FKHomes will be the first of a planned rollout of property sites all over Scotland dedicated to supporting small Estate Agents and Solicitors with a local property website specific to their location.
